About The Event

Somatic Movement Meditation with Elaine Peng

The Feldenkrais Method® is a movement-based practice developed by physicist Moshé Feldenkrais. Rather than targeting muscles or flexibility, it works directly with the nervous system—using slow, gentle sequences to help the brain discover more efficient ways of moving. The name says it plainly: awareness through movement.

What to Expect: Sessions are unhurried and non-strenuous. You'll be guided through mindful movement in a variety of positions—lying down, sitting, or standing—with an emphasis on curiosity rather than effort. You'll explore subtle shifts in how you move, retraining habitual patterns and discovering greater ease. Many people leave feeling deeply rested, lighter, and more at home in themselves.

Who Is It For? Feldenkrais® welcomes everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. It's especially valuable for those navigating chronic pain, injury recovery, stress, or anxiety—and for anyone seeking a more embodied, connected relationship with themselves.
